Vidy Convert works on ad clicks on all video ad units including instream and outstream, all native ad units, and all contextual ad units. It also works on some display ad units.
Nothing! The best part of Vidy Convert is it's automatic. As long as an ad or campaign has a destination site url associated with it, Vidy will render it in its Instant Checkout canvas.
No user identifying activity data related to the brand page session ever comes to Vidy; it stays on the user's local device. In this way Vidy maintains 100% security and privacy for every session. Vidy sets beacons for general events data such as if a purchase occurred and the session ended.
Yes Vidy Convert works programmatically via openRTB and PMP.
A fixed fee of $0.05 CPM is paid at the end of each month based on total ad impressions on site, minus all impressions on ad units that are not connected to the Vidy Convert canvas.

OTP is a new feature becoming available on the Business Tier soon, which will send a user to the brand's checkout page and default the brand's product already in the cart. This makes for the fastest checkout experience in the world.
Vidy Experiences are special animated campaigns that are hand crafted from scratch by the Vidy Experience Team. These campaigns are highly interactive experiences that leave lasting impressions on the users they touch.
Virtually anything is possible for these campaigns, within the playing field of Vidy's signature UX. The Experience Team will build your campaign with you and communicate the feasibility of every idea.
Vidy only does 2 Experience campaigns per month, and is highly selective about the brands and ideas it chooses. Each Experience campaign is built by hand from scratch, requiring immense time and resources to be poured into each project to successfully pull it off. You can reserve your spot on the Experience page.
Once a conceptual idea is agreed upon by the brand and Experience team, a guaranteed ad spend is put forth starting at $500,000. For some highly complex projects, a project creation fee will be paid by the brand before work is started. Projects usually start 2-3 months in advance of going live.
As soon as you drop in the Vidy tag, every hyperlink on your website that links out to a different site automatically connects to Vidy's canvas, meaning no user ever leaves your site off a hyperlink again.
Yes. Vidy's canvas renders the real destination site for every hyperlink.
All inbound hyperlinks that take users to other pages within your website are not touched. Vidy only connects the canvas to hyperlinks that are linkouts to other sites.
Vidy Linkouts works for the vast majority of modern websites today. When a destination site is not compatible, Vidy recognizes it in realtime and does not show the canvas, resulting in a normal linkout upon hyperlink click.
Vidy Linkouts costs just $49 a month on the Starter Tier for sites with up to 2 million visits, and $99 a month on the Pro Tier for sites with more than 2 million visits.
Buylinks are a new form of incremental affiliate revenue that attach Vidy's Instant Ecommerce canvas on product mentions across your pages. When a brand or product name appears in text, a Buylink is attached to it, opening up to a purchase screen for that product.
The user can checkout and never leave the page! Upon touching a Buylink, Vidy's Instant Ecommerce canvas appears and the user can checkout for that product.
You make money every time a user makes a purchase off of a Buylink, as a commission payout. Depending on campaign availability, you also can make money when a user just touches a Buylink and hits the brand page, as a CPC payout. Vidy notifies you when a CPC campaign becomes active for your Buylinks.
Buylinks cost just $99 a month on the Starter Tier for sites with up to 2 million visits, and $199 a month on the Pro Tier for sites with more than 2 million visits. Vidy then places buylinks on all pages that have product mentions from the inventory of participating brands.
To integrate Vidy, just buy a plan, and then drop in your generated one-line tag into the footer of your website.
Content id and Post id are not mandatory. By adding them, you just ensure cleaner and more precise video-to-text matching on your pages. Substitute the postid with unique page identifiers (each of your pages postid). Substitute the contentid with the html parent element that contains your actual article text.
Yes! That's it. You just drop in the one-line tag at the footer of your site and you're done. If you ever have any other questions, just email support@vidy.com.
The Vidy Dashboard is your hub for all activity and reporting. Through the dashboard you can upload videos, nest on your pages, see all of your analytics, invite other members to your editorial team, and create ad campaigns.

Vidy uses Google Ad Manager as its programmatic ad server. To run your own programmatic ad campaigns, connect to Vidy's DFP tag, and start streaming demand from GAM through the Vidy unit.

On ad demand that you generate and stream through the unit, you keep 100% of the revenues and Vidy charges a nominal fixed CPM fee on all video activations (video plays). On demand that Vidy generates through the unit for your website, you keep 70% of the revenues.
